Fourteen component mechanical parts of the well-executed offensive lob are delineated for the instructor to use as a checklist for evaluating the student’s offensive lob efficiency and execution. The instructor observes the student hitting offensive lobs and moves the pawn magnets to the checked box side when they’ve observed the student successfully executing each component mechanical part of the offensive lob. The pawn magnets not moved during the observational period are the ones the student needs to focus on for improving their offensive lob efficiency. This information becomes the basis of your instructional goals for your following lessons with your student(s).
NOTE: The Coach’s Magnetic Boards are made of 20 gauge galvanized steel and the pawn magnets are neodymium based. These boards will last a long time!
